Justin started painting and drawing at age eight and was part of his elementary school's extra art class. He won prize money at the Fair Art Contest in Berlin, Connecticut. While in the Army stationed in Germany he began to tattoo and sell paintings. One project for a church was 100x100 inch canvas and sold for seven hundred. He's sold over thirty paintings and tattooed over one hundred of his fellow soldiers while in the service. He was awarded a Medal for Excellence for art the commander requested. He showed his tattoos to a shop owner in Ansbach Germany and was offered a two week spot. He was commissioned to paint Army Brigade Symbols on the walls of the Commaders Meeting Room. The McNeese University of Lousiana bought a painting for eight hundred dollars. Average Joes Gym of Berlin Connecticut hired him to paint a 100x100 inch Mural of their logo. Vintage Venom Clothing of Hartford Connecticut called him Guest Artist of the Month. Relic Brewery of Plainville Connecticut granted him Guest Artist of the Month and received a permanent wall. Was Guest Artist for two months at the Powerhouse Gym in Berlin Connecticut. Helltown Workshop in Provincetown Rhode Island also invited him to an event. He was a featured artist at the Jassman Galleria in West Hartford Connecticut. He was also a featured artist at a concert for a Grateful Dead cover band called Shakedown in Enfield Connecticut. Justin has been making a living from his art and tatooing since 2012.
